Abby Schletzbaum is currently the Emergency Management Director at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Police Department. Prior to joining UNL, Abby served in the positions of Supervisory Emergency Management Specialist for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Recovery Program Specialist - Deputy State Public Assistance Officer for the Nebraska Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), and as a Disaster Program Specialist for the American Red Cross in Nebraska. She has participated in disaster response and recovery for major events including Hurricane Harvey and the 2019 Midwest floods.
