Ben Lennander serves as Assistant Vice Chancellor for HR & Chief People Officer at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and Chief People Officer for the University of Nebraska System. He has advanced mission-aligned HR through strategic planning, leadership development, and restructuring of Classification & Compensation. Previously the Director of Payroll Operations and Business Processes & Transformation Director, Ben led more than 100 process improvement projects and assisted with implementing shared services across HR and Finance. He holds an M.A. in Higher Education from UNL, a Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics from UNL, and a B.S. in Accounting from Iowa State University. His Gallup strengths are Responsibility, Individualization, Achiever, Learner, and Harmony.
