Brittany Planos is UBT’s Financial Literacy Program Manager. Brittany is an Accredited Financial Counselor and Gallup Strengths Coach passionate about drawing upon the strengths of the local community to empower its members to reach their financial goals. She visits community nonprofits and university classrooms teaching classes on personal finance. She has provided leadership for the U.S. Department of Education’s TRIO programs and formerly managed recruitment, diversity, and assessment efforts at University of Nevada - Las Vegas, UNL, and Creighton University. Brittany’s service to the community has been recognized by the Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce and Nebraska Bankers Association. An undergraduate CEHS alumna, Brittany identifies as a proud first-generation student and Husker. She holds a graduate degree in Higher Education from UNLV and is an alumna of Creighton’s Heider College of Business MBA program.
