Erin Chambers (she/they) is a front end developer for the Center for Digital Research in the Humanities in the UNL Libraries, where she has worked on web development for a diverse array of digital projects, such as Petitioning for Freedom, the Walt Whitman Archive, Nebraska Stories of Humanity, and the African Poetry Digital Portal. She is passionate about building strong relationships between colleagues and making impactful connections across roles and units through collaboration, shared governance, and day-to-day interactions. Erin holds a Graduate Certificate in Digital Humanities from UNL and a B.A. in Linguistics from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, and she will be graduating with her M.A. in English from UNL this summer. Her scholarly interests include queer theory, digital humanities, children’s and young adult literature, and women’s and gender studies. Erin is also interested in forestry, horticulture, and science communication; she currently serves on Lincoln’s Community Forestry Advisory Board and is an alum of the Nebraska Science Ambassadors program.
