Kadina is the Assistant Director of Career Development and Planning in the College of Business Career Center, where she co-supervises 12-16 peer Career Coaches. Her experience with supervision began 2 days after undergraduate graduation, when she stepped into the Interim Campus Tour Coordinator role at California State University, Sacramento. Overnight, her coworkers became her supervisees, and that experience shaped how she approaches supervision today: balancing familiarity with structure, and accountability with empathy. Since then, Kadina has continued working closely with student leaders, first as an Academic Advisor in the Explore Center and now in her current role, where she focuses on building out interactive weekly trainings, facilitating staff connections, and creating space for students to name their growth and build language around their skills. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Metro Area Planning and Geography and a Master’s in Student Affairs.
