Ferris is an assistant director of the Clifton Strengths Institute within the College of Business and a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach. With over a decade of experience in higher education, she is passionate about developing students, empowering individuals and teams to maximize their talents, and fostering inclusive environments where people can thrive. She strives to inspire growth, connection, and confidence in all. 
She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Nebraska. A coffee-loving, kid-chasing, strengths enthusiast, she enjoys science fiction, dance fitness, trying new foods, and motorcycle rides at sunset. And when it comes to seasons, fall is her favorite—hands down
