Dr. Karalee Picard is a strategic consultant, executive coach, nonprofit leader, and university faculty member with a doctorate in interdisciplinary leadership from Creighton University and a Senior Executive Fellowship from Harvard Kennedy School. A former GS-15 defense intelligence professional, she spent nearly two decades navigating one of the world's most hierarchical bureaucracies, learning firsthand how decisions are actually made, who holds real influence, and how to move important work forward when formal authority isn't enough. She currently serves as adjunct faculty at Bellevue University and as founder of Insight Leadership Consulting, where she designs and facilitates leadership development, organizational culture, and psychological safety workshops for government, nonprofit, and private sector audiences. An ICF-certified coach, Dr. Picard is authoring Stand Up, Don't Stand Alone, a leadership culture book grounded in her core belief that everyone is a leader, and that understanding the systems you operate in is essential to leading with impact.
