Lydia Coulson is a Communications Specialist in Undergraduate Education and Student Success at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In her role, she supports strategic communications that promote student success initiatives to connect students with the resources they need to persist and graduate. Lydia collaborates with units such as CAST, the Academic Navigators, and advising leaders across all eight undergraduate colleges, as well as Student Life, on initiatives including the chatbot Cornelius and the Husker Student POWER Survey. Her academic background in education and communications shapes her approach to connecting strategy, messaging, and understanding of the student experience. Through her work she translates complex student success efforts into clear, accessible messaging that engages students and supports campus-wide retention goals.
