Morgan McConnell serves as an Assistant Director for Residence Life where they work to support student success by developing strong residential communities and mentoring student leaders. In their role, Morgan works with Resident Directors and Resident Assistants focusing on creating environments where students and staff feel supported, connected, and empowered.

Beyond their departmental role, Morgan is actively involved in shared governance at UNL. They currently serve as the Vice President for External Affairs for the University Staff Senate, where they advocate for staff engagement, recognition, and collaboration across campus.

Outside of work, Morgan is an avid runner and enjoys being part of the Lincoln running community as they train for the Chicago Marathon!
