Pablo A. Rangel, Assistant Director of Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) is a disability rights advocate with seventeen years of experience in Higher Education. Pablo has served in various positions including instructor, researcher, archivist, learning specialist, and most recently joined SSD in the fall of 2021. Professional recognition includes the 2024 Inspiring Excellence Award and the 2025 Parents Association and Teaching Council of UNL’s Contribution to Students Recognition. Outside of work Pablo is completing his doctoral dissertation concerning the history of vaqueros, the Mexican cowboy, in South Texas.
