Renae has been with the Global Experiences Office for nearly 3 years. Before working at UNL, she worked in the nonprofit world for a long time, and she has a Master's in Public Administration from Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Renae lived in South Korea for a year after college and since then, has worked or volunteered with refugee/immigrant populations in many settings. She has always found herself in intercultural spaces. Renae has certifications from the Cultural Intelligence Center to provide workshops and assessment debriefing. Renae has a radio show on local community radio station 89.3FM KZUM every Friday morning from 8-10am, where she plays music from all over the world.
