My mission is to understand, empower, and uplift others. I find joy in providing personalized support based on each individual’s unique needs. As a Career Coach, I meet with students, actively listen to their goals, and offer tailored guidance on career exploration, resumes, cover letters, job searches, and graduate school applications. This role is a dream come true, especially given my own journey—I started in this country as a shy international student with limited English skills. For a person who used to have monumental challenge just to say hello in English, being able to listen to each student’s unique career journey and offer relevant and practical resources for their next steps is truly an honor. My winding journey obtaining a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Communication Studies, and then trying out jobs in interpretation/translation, human resources management, and workforce development, I know the power! of a reflective activity which digs deep for themes that connect our existing strengths and skills.
